Lena Chukhno
Many of you know Lena as high-energy, goal-oriented, and
optimistic. Before starting her exciting INSEAD journey, Lena spent four years
in consulting starting as a tax consultant at PWC and subsequently joined
McKinsey as a management consultant. Starting her career at the age of 20, Lena
was looking for challenging jobs with rich self-development opportunities.
During her undergrad studies in Kiev, Lena was also challenging herself by participating
in various student competitions and conferences.
Among most valuable skills that Lena built during her years in McKinsey is the ability to facilitate discussions in highly-diverse groups and bring them to a consensus. This skill proved to be equally critical in developing corporate strategies for the largest Russian businesses, aligning various governmental and non-governmental agencies on the 5-year plan of country-wide reforms, and facilitating discussions in a post-merger organization. Lena’s ability to bring to the consensus groups with diverse goals and backgrounds of their member would be an asset in coordinating work on INSEAD 2.0 initiative. Throughout her university years and working time Lena was a
leader in different types of extra-curricular activities. The experience of
being a head of a student scientific organization during her undergrad, one of
the leaders of CSR committee in PWC, and driving students recruiting campaigns
in McKinsey Kiev office was both highly challenging and highly rewarding. It’s
time to pursue Lena’s passion for driving changes in INSEAD life through
value-creating work in Student Council
